The Harm Tarrifs and Non-Open-Borders Do In Hospitals 🏥

Recently, Nicholas Manning, CEO of HCA Healthcare’s West Valley Medical Center, was a victim of a homicide. In addition, The CEO of the American health insurance company UnitedHealthcare was recently shot and killed. I believe the suspect cited his being upset at fraud and overpricing. These two incidents have grabbed much of the attention lately in terms of the press and news headlines pertaining to healthcare. Everyone including me condemns this violence. I strongly condemn any political violence.

In terms of political debates, what is preponderent tends to be life-and-death and bioethics issues pertaining to abortion, the ethics of late-term abortion, eugenics, utilitarianism, euthenasia, and end-of-life assistance.

But does all of the aforementioned really deal with the bread-and-butter medical issues Americans and others internationally and worldwide face? No, they resolutely do not.

Tarriffs cause unimaginable pain. A worse economy affects hiring and creates both hiring and supply shortages which has caused pain. Think of it: shortages and more expensive pacemakers, other devices, equipment, technologies, tools, PPE, medicines, pharmaceuticals. This is irreparable and irrepairable for Trump and his illegal fascist cronies.

One issue that we should talk about then instead as it is so much more pressing is the crimes-against-humanity aspect of tarrifs and non-open-borders. Not only do tarrifs create shortages due to budgets, they also create pain for medical consumers upon receiving their medical bills. Non-open-borders? That’s why illegal alien healing talent is not being leveraged at hospitals and medical schools for nusering and doctors. Many have to be held accountable for that.

Pain. Agony. Tarriffs. Painful border. Newly Uninsured Americans. Painful Hospital Bills. He has a lot to explain, for a lot of Americans.

The borders are also painful for an oft-overlooked reason: just like it was widely recognized that Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan (against the Taliban) wasn’t worth fighting even though we don’t necessarily endorse the Viet Cong nor their tactics, due to the extreme level of U.S. casualties involved with continuing to do so in folly against an emboldled and strong resistance, we should quit sending men to harm’s way at the border. Over 340 U.S. border patrol agents have been shot in recent years (which I condemn, as I do all violence against humans) – this proves the folly of continuing to send men to an untimely demise in what has turned out to be one of the most dangerous and lethal professions around. Just as with Afghanistan, it’s time to withdraw. The border is also illegal, immoral, unjust (it has been responsible for criminal and illegal injustices en masse), criminal, unconstitutional, just like the tarrifs (only Congress declares tarrifs on human goods).

This President is a fascist and criminal against humanity. I happily await Nuremberg 2.0 (IMT 2.0). He’s already a convicted felon in a New York Court of Law for fraud. I know it’s coming I’m just looking forward to watching him and his associates all behind bars.
